Prepare yourself for a memorable evening as treasured Hawaiian musician John Cruz makes his way to the Kahilu Theatre stage, streaming live via Kahilu.TV later this month.

Cruz is known throughout Hawaii for his innovative and inspiring songwriting styles. With his signature style of Hawaiian Motown country music, John Cruz has performed for Kahilu Theatre many times over the course of his career. The Oahu-born Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning musician will perform at 4 p.m. Jan. 30 with a live chat to follow.


In addition to his solo career, he has played with Henry Kapono and Brother Noland in the Rough Riders, Jack Johnson, and Paula Fuga. As someone who came from a musical family, John knows the importance music can have on a child’s life. His passion and support of cultural and educational projects allows him to encourage kids to believe in themselves and follow their inspirations.
