Janet Marie Fletcher Kim, 91, of Hilo, died Feb. 3, 2021m at a private care home. Born in Duluth, Minnesota, she was a retired loss prevention personnel.

She is survived by husband, Richard Kim, of Hilo; sons, Richard (Mavis) Fletcher of Oregon, Donald Fletcher and Dale (Gloria) Fletcher, all of Florida, and Alan John (Wendy) Fletcher of Washington; brother, Robert Dehaan of Oregon; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert De Soto

Robert Allen De Soto, 73, of Volcano, died Feb. 9, 2021m at a private care home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired social worker for the state Department of Health, member of Community of Christ and a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He is survived by sons, Dana De Soto of Volcano and Daniel (Jasmine) De Soto of Keaau; daughter, Kate (Cody Osborne) De Soto of Hilo; brother, Daniel (Anne) De Soto of Cincinnati, Ohio; and five grandchildren.

Leror Dejesus

Leror “Bubba” Haimi Dejesus, 73 of Honokaa, died Feb. 9, 2021, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired truck driver for the Hamakua Plantation and a veteran.

He is survived by brother, Richard (Theresa) Dejesus of Manteca, California; sister, Dorothy Dejesus of Mesa, Arizona; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Wendy Ah Tou

Wendy Gail Leilani Ah Tou, 55, of Captain Cook, died Jan. 18, 2021, at Kona Community Hospital. Born May 12, 1965, in Honolulu, she was a CAN at the former Hillhaven Long Term Facility, an order taker at McDonald’s and a waitress at Hong Kong Chop Suey restaurant.

Services will be held at a later date.

She is survived by husband, Thomas Ah Tou Sr. of Captain Cook; daughters, Dayna Marie (Ryan) Kaahanui-Mateo of Aiea, Oahu, Tatiana Ah Tou of Honaunau, and Taysha Roberta Kaahanui of Waipahu, Oahu; son, Thomas Ah Tou Jr. of Hoopuloa; mother, Helen (Michael) Naihe of Ewa Beach, Oahu; brother, Branden Kaahanui of Ewa Beach, Oahu; sisters, Tracy Ann Kaahanui of Kalihi, Oahu, Debbie (Travis) Hoyohoy of Ainaloa, and Reina Kaahanui of Milton, Florida; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
