Longtime AP Hawaii political reporter Bruce Dunford dies

HONOLULU — Bruce Dunford, whose exploits as a longtime Associated Press reporter prompted then-Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle to declare the day he retired “Bruce Dunford Day,” has died, his family said.
