Lake Tahoe threatened by massive fire, more ordered to flee

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — Fire officials ordered more evacuations around the Tahoe Basin as a two-week old blaze encroached on the threatened mountain towns surrounding glimmering Lake Tahoe.
