Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an individual wanted for questioning regarding a building being vandalized on Onipa’a Street in Kona on Monday, September 6, 2021, at 4:30 p.m.
The suspect in the criminal property damage incident is described as being a Marshallese male in his late teens or early 20s, 5 feet 4 inches tall, 135 pounds, with a tattoo on his left upper chest. At the time of the incident he was shirtless and wearing a thin metal chain. When he left the scene he was wearing a black shirt, dark camouflage pattern shorts, and a red fanny pack.
