Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle and three men that were reportedly involved in a robbery that occurred Wednesday night in the Target parking lot in Kailua-Kona.
Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle and three men that were reportedly involved in a robbery that occurred Wednesday night in the Target parking lot in Kailua-Kona.
Shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday, a 19-year-old man reported that multiple unknown male suspect(s) removed his vehicle from the parking lot off Makala Boulevard after a brief altercation, according to the Hawaii Police Department.
All three suspects are described as local males of unknown height and weight; two of them were wearing full face masks. One of the suspects followed the victim’s stolen car as it left the scene. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a light colored four-door sedan.
The victim’s vehicle was later recovered in Puna, however the investigation is still ongoing and police are searching for the suspect’s vehicle, as well as the three suspects.
