Pope Benedict XVI apologizes to abuse victims but denies wrongdoing

ROME/MUNICH — Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI on Tuesday asked victims of sexual abuse in the Catholic Church for forgiveness but rejected allegations that he was involved in any cover-up.
