Stone beaches rebuilt in Liliuokalani Park

Roanne Nip walks down the path past the new suhama, or stone beach, at Liliuokalani Park and Gardens in Hilo on Tuesday. Nip shared a photograph of her grandmother at a stone beach in Liliuokalani Park in the 1930s, which prompted Friends of Liliuokalani Park to work to restore the original stone beaches.
