Allow me to enlighten Robert Hastings about the “hoopla” over the overturning of Roe v. Wade referenced in his My Turn column published Sunday, July 3. I do not think the loss of rights to any American is exaggerated. Though I am glad I live in Hawaii, I am also an American and sympathize with women across the country who have to deal with this.
