Officials investigating cause of Kona home fire
Firefighters responded to a structure fire Friday evening in Kona.
A home on Kupuna Street caught fire Friday evening just after 8 p.m. The two-story residence was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene.
Three engine units battled the blaze which took three hours to completely extinguish.
There were no injuries and no surrounding structures were affected.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
