Karl Stasik poses for a portrait Friday in Hale Hookah in Hilo. Stasik opened the shop and hookah lounge in 2015, six months before the legal age for tobacco consumption was raised from 18 to 21. Stasik said the current push to ban flavored tobacco would kill his business, as would a proposed all-out tobacco ban for anyone born after 2003. (Kelsey Walling/Tribune-Herald)
