Mahi found fit to stand trial

Kona District Court Judge Wendy DeWeese Friday found a 52-year-old Hilo man who pleaded not guilty to a host of charges filed in connection with the alleged September 2022 abduction and ensuing crimes committed against a 15-year-old Kona girl fit to stand trail Friday morning.
