The First Tanabata Japanese Star Festival at ‘Imiloa Since 2019 Draws Thousands

HILO, HI – The first Tanabata Japanese Star Festival at ‘Imiloa since 2019 drew a crowd of nearly 2,500 to the half-day free event last Saturday that showcased special planetarium shows, Japanese crafts and traditional games, bon dance lessons, taiko performances, entertainment, ono food and more.
