The Wildcats had three double-digit scorers — senior Tavina Harris with 18, sophomore Mikela Salazar-Harrell with 13 and sophomore Aaedyn Kauhi with 13. Harris leads the Wildcats’ offense — which averages a BIIF-high 72.5 points per game — at 16.8 points per game.
Tiani Kaupu and Lenzy Adlawan led the Trojans with six and five points, respectively.
Kona (10-2 overall, 8-0 BIIF) next travels north to Kapaau to play Kohala on Thursday in Kamehameha Park Gymnasium. Kea‘au (0-2) next plays Waiakea at 7 p.m. Jan. 4 in Hilo.
