Robert Trail Gray III, 80, of Kailua-Kona died Jan. 13 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Toronto, he was the owner of Gray’s Furniture in Kona. Scattering of ashes and a celebration of life 1 p.m. Sunday (March 10) at the Fisherman’s Club at Honokohau Harbor. Survived by wife, Cynthia Gray of Kailua-Kona; son, Rob (Heather) Gray IV of Ingersoll, Ontario, Canada; daughters, Tiffany (Martin) O’Keefe of Toronto and Vanessa Gray of Sacramento, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Gray of Dorchester, Ontario, Canada; hanai sons; sisters, Gary A Gray and Susan Allen, formerly of Kailua-Kona; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Gary Lamar Jones

Gary Lamar Jones, 69, of Pahoa died Feb. 21 at home. Born in Dalton, Ga., he was a retired U.S. Army medic and emergency room supervisor, retired certified nursing assistant at Hilo Medical Center and security officer for Aloha Security. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Tuesday (March 12) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 10. Burial to follow at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Sandy Jones of Pahoa; daughter, Dawn Jones of Hilo; son, Adrian (Dana) Jones of Mountain View; brothers, Alan (Judy) Jones, Dennis (Julie) Jones, Larry (Kristin) Jones, Jerry (Gloria) Timbs, Greg (Misty) Timbs, Chris (Kathy) Timbs and Eddie (Sandra) Britt, all of Georgia; stepbrothers, Russell (Teresa) Barrett, Ted (Phyllis) Barrett and David (Melissa) Timbs of Georgia; three grandsons and a granddaughter; nieces and nephews. Lloyd Kauiahiwa Henry

Lloyd Kauiahiwa Henry, 77, of Hilo died Jan. 30. Born in Hawaii, he was a stevedore and U.S. Army veteran. Services 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at at Ballard Family Mortuary. Adeline Elizabeth “Grandma P-Nut” Kimi

Adeline Elizabeth “Grandma P-Nut” Kimi, 92, of Hilo died Feb. 25. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker and vendor/owner of Tropical Treasures at the Merrie Monarch Hawaiian Arts Fair. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Wednesday (March 13) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 6 p.m. Committal service 8:30 a.m. Thursday (March 14) at the Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 Pavilion. Bernard Kikuo Sagawa

Bernard Kikuo Sagawa, 77, of Hilo died Feb. 13 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired deputy manager for the state Housing Authority, distributor of West Hawaii Today, member of Hilo Hooganji Mission, Big Island National Guard Retiree Association and retired veteran of the U.S. Army and Hawaii Army National Guard. Visitation 3-5 p.m. Thursday (March 14) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 5 p.m. Casual attire. Inurnment 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Survived by companion, Kaye Nagamine of Hilo; daughters, Trisha (Alan) Chun of Honolulu, Kasie Lyn (Keolu) Kailikea of Hilo, Lindy Sagawa of Oahu and Jessica (Johanson “Yonny”) Quist of Hilo; brother, Jason Sagawa of Oregon; three grandchildren. Jane Takeko Iwashita

Jane Takeko Iwashita, age 83, of Hilo, died Feb. 24 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Olaa (Keaau), she was the retired proprietress of the former Mizoguchi Sushi Store in Hilo. Visitation from 3-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 16 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo, with memorial service at 4 p.m. Casual attire. No koden (monetary gifts). Survived by husband, Elven Iwashita of Hilo; daughters, Candie Lynn (Brian) Ogawa of Keaau and Paige (Brian) Nakano of Hilo; brother, Tadayuki Kiso of Mountain View; sister, Jean Kubota of Hilo; brother-in-law, Sadao Yabuno of Pearl City; sisters-in-law, Lillian Yamashita of Hilo, Jeanne (Robert) Kaneshiro of Honolulu and Sadako Iwashita of Hilo; grandchildren, Chad (Kayla) Suzuki, Jennifer Nakano, Michael Nakano, Jordan Ogawa and Taylor Dru Ogawa and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
