Mauna Kea Quilters will hold their monthly gathering in Thelma Parker Memorial Library’s meeting room beginning at 9:30 a.m. this Saturday. Anyone can attend. It begins with a business meeting, followed by show-and-tell and sharing of new ideas and techniques.
The Waimea volunteer organization started in 1997 as a group of patchwork quilters who enjoy sharing their love of quilting with others. Each year they donate many quilts to help raise money for worthwhile organizations in the area.
