Update: Roadwork complete in Kailua Village

Both lanes of Alii Drive fronting Hulihee Palace in Kailua Village are open Thursday afternoon. Hawaii County Department of Public Works crews spent the morning repairing a section of the road.

The crews were filling with about 8 tons of asphalt a depression in the makai lane of the roadway, according to the department.
