Waikoloa Luxury Cinemas, an upscale, three-screen movie venue with a full-service restaurant and bar, will open early next year in the Queens’ MarketPlace.
The theater will feature a spacious, contemporary lobby, with a bar and high-end furnishings, as well as a 5,000-square-foot outdoor lanai lounge, available to everyone, movie patron or not. It expects to create 45 new jobs.
Each of the three auditoriums will be outfitted with cutting-edge sound and projection equipment, will seat 85-100 people, and offer Real 3-D technology.
In addition to films, Waikoloa Luxury Cinemas will be available for rentals, concerts and live performances.
