The 32nd Annual Helen Cassidy Memorial Juried Art Show is coming to Firehouse Gallery in Waimea Oct. 5-29. Entrees are now being accepted and the event is open to current and new members of the Waimea Arts Council.
All media will be accepted. Cash awards will be announced at a reception on Oct. 8.
The fee is $20 per entry. There is no limit to the number of pieces entered. Entry fees are non-refundable.
All entries must be original; no prints or reproductions will be accepted with the exception of photography. In addition, the art can not have been exhibited in past Helen Cassidy Shows or have won previous prizes. The maximum size is 36X36 inches, including the frame.
Artwork must be submitted at the Firehouse Gallery, located at 67-1201 Mamalaho Highway in Waimea, between the 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Oct. 1, or next Wednesday-Sunday. Gallery hours are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and Sunday. Saturdays it is open 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
