West Hawaii County Band performs

The West Hawaii County Band, a 20 piece civic band, will help celebrate the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival with a special half-hour “November Harvest” concert this evening at Hale Halawai.

The 7 p.m. concert will feature music selected from the band’s extensive repertoire including marches, polkas, jazz, film scores, classical music and Hawaiian traditional tunes. A $3 festival button is required.

The band’s previously scheduled free monthly concert, slated Nov. 18, has been canceled. Following tonight’s performance, the band will perform Dec. 9 in Kailua-Kona.
