At the Big Island Beekeepers Association booth, Kalehua Goodman of Waikoloa and Nora Hood of Waimea looked into mini-microscopes to see pollinators up close.

Desserts were a welcome option at the Taste Gala, which featured dishes made of pasture-raised beef, lamb, pork, goat, breadfruit and an assortment of local vegetables.
