For Hawaii County, the total number of new cases dropped again, from 338 total cases last week to 282 new cases this week.

The statewide case count dropped as well, from 2,696 new cases last week to 2,219 new cases this week.

Throughout the pandemic, Hawaii Island has reported 37,716 COVID cases and 210 total deaths, according to DOH data.

Due to an increase in at-home testing options, accurate case counts are likely much higher than reported by the DOH.
