Family fun is on tap from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday during Humanity Hale’s Fall Fest Fundraiser at scenic Bolton Farms in Holualoa.
Festivities include chef-inspired cuisine, beverages, live music and art, DJ with dancing, vendors, face-painting, games and a photo booth for keiki against a backdrop of Hualalai and panoramic views of the Kailua-Kona skyline.
“This is Humanity Hale’s second annual fundraiser, with 100% of proceeds going to finance a group foster home and community center with housing for youth aging out of foster care,” Charis Higginson, founder and executive director, said in a press release.
Fall Fest attendees can enjoy local chef tasting stations, salad bar, desserts and Dippin’ Dots for keiki, wine, beer, champagne, signature cocktails, kombucha and nonalcoholic mocktails, plus entertainment by singer/songwriter Shina Romero, hula by Miss Kona Coffee Shyla Victor and a dance party spun by DJ “Selector Smith.”
Vendors and a silent auction will offer holiday gift ideas and make a donation for a chance to win select auction items.
General admission tickets are $75 for adults and $125 for VIPs, plus packages for families; ticket fees also apply. Ticket details are available at https://humanityhalefallfestfundraiser.eventbrite.com/. Ticket sales end soon, and last year’s event sold out.
Humanity Hale is a nonprofit public charity that serves up to 100 underserved/foster youth per year on Hawaii Island.
